1934-1974 Transition from the textile industry to the light metal industry
Asuka Industries began manufacturing insect screens in 1934 (Showa 9) and was established in 1942 (Showa 17) as 'Kokoro no Ami Co., Ltd.' its predecessor. In 1957 (Showa 32), an aluminum secondary alloy plant was added, and thereafter, by strengthening analytical technology, expanding manufacturing plants, and establishing a system for importing raw materials from overseas, it grew into a top manufacturer in the Tokai region of Japan.

| 1961(Showa 36) | Constructed a new light metal plant in Nishio City(previous Head Office & Plant). Officially renamed the company Asuka Industries Co., Ltd. Launched the first issue of Asuka Aluminum News. |

| 1967(Showa 42) | 25th Anniversary Celebration Held. Closed textile operations. Introduced an emission spectroscopy analyzer. |

| 1971(Showa 46) | Commenced raw material intake via maritime containers, establishing a rapid import system for overseas materials. Dispatched a U.S. industrial inspection delegation to mark the 10th anniversary of Asuka Aluminum News. |
