1997-　Global ISO Certification and the Evolution of Next-Generation Sustainable Manufacturing

Asuka Industries obtained ISO 9001 international certification in 2003. In 2012, we completed construction of a new factory that boasts advanced technology and excellent environmental performance. We are also continuing our research into quality control technologies to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products.

History

1997（Heisei 9）	Received Recognition from the Recycling Promotion Association for Outstanding Contributions to Resource Recovery.
1998（Heisei 10）	Dispatched a specialized research delegation to Canada and the United States to study advanced UBC (Used Beverage Can) recycling technologies. Conducted a company-wide technical training tour in Australia. Hisashi Amano appointed as Chairman, Takashi Amano appointed as President.
2001（Heisei 13）	Conducted a company-wide industrial training tour in the United States. Chairman Hisashi Amano was awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon by the Japanese Government for professional excellence and industrial contribution.
2002（Heisei 14）	60th Anniversary Celebration Held. Registered as an official "3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Experiential Learning" facility. Received National Recognition from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (Clean Japan Center) for excellence in 3R promotion.
2003（Heisei 15）	Achieved ISO 9001:2000 international quality management certification.
2004（Heisei 16）	Conducted a company-wide technical exchange and site inspection tour of industry-leading facilities in China.
2009（Heisei 21）	Successfully updated certification to ISO 9001:2008.
2012（Heisei 24）	Constructed and commissioned a new light metal manufacturing plant in Nakabata-cho, Nishio-City. Commemorated the 70th anniversary with a ceremony marking the completion of the Nakahata Plant.
2013（Heisei 25）	Obtained Domestic Credit Certification for Greenhouse Gas Reduction; successfully achieved a 35% reduction in CO2 emissions. Secured a Joint Patent for specialized technology in determining molten metal cleanliness.
2018（Heisei 30）	Successfully updated certification to ISO 9001:2015.
2022（Reiwa 4）	Formally announced the Asuka Industries SDGs Declaration. Officially recognized as a registered enterprise under the Aichi Prefecture SDGs Registration System. 80th Anniversary Celebration Held.
