Our Technology
Aluminum on its own lacks sufficient strength and workability. However, by adding other metallic elements according to the intended application, it can achieve superior mechanical properties. Because some of these alloying elements are required only in precise, minute quantities, rigorous quality control is essential. Furthermore, secondary alloys which utilize aluminum scrap as their primary raw material-contain a complex mix of elements and therefore demand an advanced level of quality management. At Asuka Industries, we leverage a wide range of proprietary technologies and decades of metallurgical experience to ensure the production of aluminum alloys of outstanding quality.

Determination of molten metal cleanliness by solidification curve analysis
The cleanliness of molten metal particularly affects mold casting and sand casting, and it is also an indispensable factor in die casting, which has become noticeably larger and thinner in recent years. Our company has fully adopted a method for judging molten metal cleanliness using cooling and solidification curve analysis. This method, which analyzes the temperature change curves obtained during the solidification of molten metal samples, allows us to objectively obtain various information related to cleanliness, such as the crystalline state and the presence of inclusions, and enables us to apply appropriate measures to improve cleanliness.
K-Mold Method
We also conduct inclusion evaluations using the K-Mold method upon customer request. While the K-Mold method allows for the straightforward detection of inclusions, it requires specialized casting techniques during sample preparation, and accuracy can vary depending on the evaluator’s expertise. At our company, evaluations are carried out in an appropriate inspection environment, making it possible to obtain highly reliable results.
Component analysis by solid-state emission spectroscopy
Since 1967, Asuka Industries has used component analysis by solid-state emission spectroscopy in aluminum alloys. With more than 40 years of accumulated experience, we have reliable quality control techniques.
